On this Episode:
As Israel responds to the devastating Hamas massacre of October 7, we explore how The Negev Foundation and it’s partners are helping to maintain daily routine for those displaced from their homes, farms, and businesses in the aftermath of the Hamas attacks. Innovative States host, Shawn Fink is joined by Hadas Nisan, Resource Development Director for the Ramat HaNegev Region, where hundreds of displaced families have been relocated. Hadas discusses the regions emergency response efforts to house, feed, and clothe the refugees from Israel’s “Gaza Envelope” and the ongoing needs to help those still unable to return to their homes, following the events of October 7.
Also on this special Israel at War edition of Innovative States, Negev Foundation President and Founder, Sam Hoenigspeaks with Shawn about the foundation’s pivot from its everyday activities, to assisting the Israeli evacuees, and providing aid and assistance for the Israeli evacuees, with a particular emphasis on ensuring their agriculturally-based businesses will be able to resume their operations as soon as conditions in Israel allow.
