DESCRIPTION:ORWA covers both water and wastewater sectors\, has >350 members\, and is part of the National Rural Water Association.  There were ~270 participants and 67 exhibitors.    Ohio EPA Deputy Director\, Karl Gebhardt\, who gave a keynote presentation at the conference\, mentioned OIACI and recommended that the conference participants look at Israeli innovations and technologies in the water sector and work with OIACI.  He gave Fluence’s small scale wastewater treatment technology as a specific example of Israeli technology and innovation in this sector.

DESCRIPTION:OIACI was invited by Tim Brown\, President of the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG)\, to attend TMACOG’s Water Quality Council meeting on 3/12/18 in Toledo\, OH and give a presentation about OIACI’s CleanTech/Water sector activities.  OIACI submitted an abstract for the presentation ahead of time. The event was well publicized in the Toledo region and attracted a lot of interest.  The event was attended by 62 people\, including members of the Toledo Water Quality Council\, regional municipalities and county officials\, and the media.
